Research Theme

I have been conducting research mainly in public economics and macroeconomics: In particular, policy problems where dynamic elements are important. Recently, I focus on fiscal investment and loan program, and social security. On fiscal investment and loan program, my research interests are improvement of policy evaluation method and reformation of organizational structure in order to keep discipline in public financial institutions.On social security, my research interests are evaluation of its function of absorbing risk by using micro-economic data, and mechanism design of social security system which can cope with aging society.

Other research interests include design of rules for restructuring fiscal conditions of Japanese government.
