Research Theme
I am investigating the dynamics of the workplace organization within Japanese firms from both quantitative and qualitative aspects, and also working on modeling these dynamics using computer simulation. In particular, I am interested in how the physical environments of workplaces, new ICT tools, and personnel systems influence organizational performance measurements such as productivity and creativity by mediating organizational processes. I am investigating various types of workplaces including white-collar offices, sales offices, and manufacturing sites.
