現在の研究分野

産業組織論、競争政策

研究課題

企業行動や消費者行動を産業組織論の観点から分析し、競争政策や産業政策の評価・検証を行うことを中心的な研究テーマにしている。具体的には（１）ネットワーク産業（電力，家電等）や鉄鋼業を中心に企業戦略の評価やイノベーションが産業構造や社会厚生に与える影響の定量分析、（２）企業合併や規制改革（例えば電力や通信）などの競争政策の事後的な検証・評価に関する実証分析と法制度的な研究、（３）政策立案（EBPM）における制度設計等。対象とする産業は、農業や再生可能エネルギー、交通・観光、医療政策（とりわけ診療報酬に係る制度評価）が含まれる。
