Professor Michihiro Kandori of the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo is elected President of the Game Theory Society, a highly respected society in the field. Professor Kandori is the first Japanese economist elected as President of the Game Theory Society and begins his two-year term on August 1st, 2022. Past presidents of the society include Economics Nobel laureates Robert J. Aumann, Roger B. Myerson, and Eric Maskin.
