If you are an incoming student in the third grade or a holdover, and need a student identification card, you can obtain it at the Undergraduate School Office on and after April 1. Unless you have an urgent need, however, please wait and obtain it on May 6 (Fri.).
Though the registration for incoming students in the third grade is scheduled for May 6 (Fri.), they are to officially become students of Faculty of Economics beginning April 1 and are assigned their student numbers on April 1. (They can refer to their own student numbers at the Student Scholarship and Welfare Group or Undergraduate School Office when taking procedures that require their student numbers.)
Notes:
●The new start dates for summer semester, May 6 pertain only to the Faculty of Economics. Please be advised that the due dates for the admission fees exemption and others may be earlier than May 6.
●We would like you to refrain from coming to the University of Tokyo unless you have inevitable reasons. We also would like the fourth grade and above students to update their contact information to UT-mate including e-mail addresses/phone numbers so that we can reach you any time.
●If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Undergraduate School Office at 03-5841-5552.
Best wishes, and look forward to seeing you on May 6!
