Professor Michihiro Kandori is elected Executive Vice President of the Game Theory Society

Professor Michihiro Kandori of the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo has been elected Executive Vice President of the Game Theory Society, a highly respected society in the field. Professor Kandori will be the first Japanese economist elected as an officer of the Game Theory Society and will begin his two-year term on August 1st, 2020, at the conclusion of which he is expected to be elected to the presidency. Past presidents of the society include Economics Nobel laureates Robert J. Aumann, Roger B. Myerson, and Eric Maskin.
