On July 27-28, 2009, I have visited London, and discussed with many economists, including an executive at Bank of England, professors at London School of Economics, and chief economists of hedge funds. The topics of discussions ranged from current global crisis to reforms of financial supervision around the world.(8/24/2009)

From July 1 to 5, I have visited Paris and Aix-en-Provence. (8/24/2009)
In Paris, I have participated in the breakfast meeting of the Paris-Ile de France Capital Economique and talked to a journalist, and a group of businessmen. In addition, I have visited SciencesPo to strengthen the student exchange program between SciencesPo and GraSPP, University of Tokyo. In Aix-en-Provence, I have participated in the 3-day conference, Circle of Economists at Aix-en-Provence. My role was to speak at the “Great Breakdown.”
On June 30, 2009, I participated in the NBER Japan Project Meeting held in Tokyo. (8/24/2009)
