|I have been mainly studying international labour migration. My recent topics are as follows.
1) One of the important characteristics of international labour migration which international movements of goods and capital do not have is that migrants form their community in the receiving country. Taking it into consideration, I have been studying the interrelationships between macro-structures of migration flows and formation of migrants' informal network.
2) International labour migration as well as movements of commodity and capital has developed the international division of labour. I have been studying the contemporary division of labour on a world scale, and the roles which these three factors play in its formation process.
