| I have been working basically in the area of international economics and industrial economics. In international economics I have been working in such issues as various aspects of trade policies, international trade regime, and the development of foreign direct investments from and into Japan. Most of my research has been focused on policy aspects of the issues, but related theoretical models have also been analyzed. As for industrial economics, I have been working on such issues as Japanese distribution system and small and medium enterprise support policies. | ||
